Well, it has been forever since I last updated my journal and thus updated everyone on where the stories are and what I'm working on. Well, really, I've been working like mad and my brain is so crammed with so many numbers and laws that the voices of my characters have been all but drowned out. I'm not hearing the multiple voices to do the conversations like I used to.

But all hope is not lost. I still write with Skyefox several times a week, I've just been really, really lazy about getting all of those writings out of my email and onto wordpad so I can upload.

So, in case I haven't informed you all, my father-in-law passed at the end of 2014, my mother-in-law passed in November of 2016, and my step-father had a stroke in June that he is very slowly recovering from. My oldest child is 16 and has moved in with my mother to help her with my stepfather once he's out of rehab. My youngest son just started 6th grade last week and we're still trying to help him understand that just because he wasn't born being perfect at things doesn't mean he sucks. My daughter, that's in 7th grade, has decided to start her own business by selling commissioned drawings for $2 to her friends. I think she's already gone to bed, but I do believe she has created her own DA account.

So because I still love to write, still want to write, I'll do my best to upload more moving forward.

So like we all know, I went back to school in like 2012... And having to focus on and remember things that had nothing to do with my wonderful stories and lovely characters slowed down my writing a lot. Well, when a job in that line of work didn't pan out, I took the H&R Block tax training class and became a tax professional! Yay! Applause! Woo!

Yeah... This part time job has literally taken over my life and it is still only PART TIME! It feels full time though since I end up working 4-6 days a week even if it's only for an hour or two. Yay appointments in the preseason.

Well, I've set myself up to have even less time and less ability to creatively think. I submitted the application to be an office manager and they accepted it. So I'll be running an office, which means I get to stress about things I have no real control over.

But before you panic, yes, we are still writing, I am still writing. There is just too much jumping around from story to story to go getting you all involved with characters that we might not touch again. So don't worry. Things will one day appear in  your in boxes!
